Chassis Mt4 #1124-1138 are produced during 1953

• March 8^th – Sebring 12 hours, Cunningham wins the under 1500cc class in a 1350cc Mt4 (#1124)
• April 26^th – 1953 Mille Miglia, OSCA wins 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 5^th in class (1100 Sport)
• May – Porsche introduces their 550 Spyder model, 1500cc (110cv @ 6200)
• June  - Introduction of an MT4 1450cc engine version (110cv @6200)
• September 5-13^th – Peron 1^st OA at the Tour De France race in his 1100cc Mt4 (#1134)
• Late 1953 – Introduction of the 4 speed OSCA - ZF gearbox
